We have been breeding since the early 80’s and have tried many designs of boxes for our pups. We have now settled on the design below which comes with first class workmanship with the comfort & safety of the mother & pups foremost in out thoughts before constructing each box.
Our Boxes are custom made from pine. We do not use plywood which is not such a strong sturdy material. They are not mass produced. We allow nice high sides to help to conserve warmth for your new puppies.
All pine construction – Only new materials used. Aluminium and stainless steel fittings. The boxes standard height is 40 cm. The height can be increased in increments of 13 cm. The boxes do not have to be square if you have a certain space you wish for it to fit into. I am very happy to discuss this with you.
Our boxes fold flat for easy storage and shipping.
Hygienic PVC crush rails to prevent help prevent mum from rolling on her pups they are easy to remove as pups grow.
Each box is sealed 3 times throughout for easy cleaning. Safe if Pups or mother chews on the box. It is no different than a chair leg being chewed on. Stops urine seeping through so much easier to clean and more hygienic.
The box can be washed over with no worry about water going through the wood.
Everything is smooth & no sharp edges.

We do not cut corners or make a box that does not come up to our high standards.
Our Boxes do not come with floors we have found over many years of breeding that this design is best for both hygiene, cleaning and storage. We use vinyl or a tarp we have found the vinyl easier to clean then I add a layer of newspaper then Vet bed this product is very warm and any moisture goes through to the newspaper below newborns are always nice and dry. I would suggest at least 2 pieces of Vet Bed so you can wash one and use one.
We also make a Puppy pen that can attach to our whelping boxes. See photographs  A photo of the box folded flat ready to leave and you can store away until your next litter.  If you have a Giant breed we can reinforce the box even further with extra internal and external corner pieces and extra wooden bracing reinforcements. All of our boxes fold flat for easy storage or ease of movement.
